Posted On 1/4/2018

In this Alumni Spotlight we caught up with Robin Rastatter, Massage Therapist and current employee at Massage Envy in Erie and Rolland Chiropractic in Edinboro.

What type of things do you do in your career day to day?

Day to day I give massages to all different kinds of people from athletes that need my help, to auto accident patients, and even people who simply need to relax.

What do you like about your career?

I love that I have the ability to help people who really need me, and that I can really improve their quality of life with my knowledge. You also meet many wonderful and kind people in this field, clients and coworkers alike.

What did you like most about Great Lakes?

I loved Great Lakes for its willingness to help it's students whether it be in the classroom, or after graduation.

What are your career goals for the future?

My goals for my career are simply to be the best therapist I can be and help as many people as possible.

What advice can you give current students and new graduates that can help them be successful?

My advice for current students would be to LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS, don't take them for granted. They want to help and can only do so much without your cooperation. My advice for new graduates is to never stop trying. You may be out of school but all careers take time to build.

What do you like to do in your free time/any new happenings in your life you want to share?

Now that I'm done with school and doing well in my career, I've been spending my time traveling and seeing the world like I've always wanted to.
