Medical Assistant Graduate Honored

Posted On 5/11/2012

Valle Breter, a Medical Assistant graduate, was presented the Outstanding Student award during the Spring 2012 commencement ceremony.

Valle decided to go back to school after finding herself unemployed at the age of 61. Instead of settling into early retirement, she thought she would just give night classes a try. She quickly realized how much she enjoyed learning about the medical field and fell in love with the idea of a new career.

As a student, Valle was a breath of fresh air. She always had something positive to say about the world, supporting everyone around her. While in school, she had nearly perfect attendance and graduated with highest honors. She was hired from her externship for a full time position at Lakeview Urology Surgeons. Mike Nelson, the business Manager at Lakeview, says this about Valle. "She is an exemplary employee who constantly influences our office in a positive manner and continues to raise the bar for all employees. Her customer service, job knowledge and most importantly her charismatic personality are a true pleasure to be around. We are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful person."

Congratulations, Valle, for a job well done!
