Quality Control Technician Program @ EIT

Diploma Program -- 42 Credits -- 900 class hours

Quality is more than just facts and figures.  Where else can you practice technical knowledge, people skills, and education all in one career? Plus, where else can you get to use a wide array of really cool precision instruments?

People create quality.  Learn what it takes for success in a modern quality assurance program from data collection, process control, control charts, and understanding variation, to basic statistics and problem solving.  Get your hands on thousands of dollars worth of snap, ring, and plug gauges, gauge blocks, surface plates, dial indicators, scales, and micrometers.  You’ll use these tools to measure geometric characteristics, machine threads, surface finishes, calibration, and hardness testing in a practical industrial setting.
