In the Erie Area – Erie is home to the historic Warner Theatre, Jerry Uht Park – home of Seawolves AA baseball, Tulio Arena – home of Erie Otters hockey, Erie Playhouse, Erie Art Museum, Blasco Library, Erie Zoo, and Presque Isle State Park, with over 11 miles of beaches. There are churches of all denominations, major hospitals, a YMCA, restaurants, entertainment, and the region's largest shopping area.

On Campus – As a specialized career-training school, the time of completion of students’ programs of study is so short, there is little time to participate in sports, clubs, and other activities commonly found on college campuses. Various programs offer student activities in professional organizations. There are also special student recognition activities – like Student Appreciation Day, dress-down days, and community service projects. Great Lakes hosts the local student chapter of the National Association of Health Professionals. |
