ACCREDITATION
Great Lakes Institute of Technology is accredited by The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The Allied Health departments of the institute are licensed by The Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

FACILITY
Great Lakes Institute of Technology is located in a newly constructed facility near the main suburban shopping area of Erie. Well-equipped classrooms, labs, and clinics simulate the actual work environment for focused training. A unique feature of the school is its location in an actual medical office building. From day one, students will find themselves interacting with physician and medical offices in a professional setting.

Our Massage Therapist program is located with our TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy’s cosmetology programs in downtown Erie. The student hair and massage clinics are both open to the public, providing a “spa-like” atmosphere, in which many students may find themselves working.

INSTRUCTION
Classes are small. As a student, you will learn by demonstration, lecture, study, practice, group discussion and role playing. A supervised externship will give you on-the-job training, and the Institute will even assist you with job placement.
