Finances are an important consideration when preparing for an education. Great Lakes Institute of Technology participates in several financial aid programs for eligible students. The Financial Aid Office assists students in completing all applications for aid, and each student’s financial arrangements are tailored to the program for which he or she has applied.
Great Lakes Institute of Technology offers two basic categories of financial aid: grants and loans. Grants are awarded based on financial need and do not require repayment. Loans, offered at low interest rates, are available through lending institutions and will begin repayment beginning six months after the student ceases to be enrolled at least halftime. A partial listing of the financial aid available includes Federal Pell Grants, Federal Direct Student Loans, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits, Veterans Educational Benefits, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, and Student Education Assistance Foundation grants.
Additionally, the school offers institutional scholarships to qualified applicants.
